Pagan influence
Jesus and Moses and all prophets proclaimed the Oneness of God:
Moses - Deut. 6:4 'Hear O Israel: the Lord, our God is one Lord'
Jesus - Mark 12:29 hear O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord'
